Cliff and his son Dave promptly responded to our initial enquiry about an old, overgrown maple tree; they called to assess the work, gave us a detailed description of what was required and quoted a very favourable price.  They arranged to carry out the work at a time most convenient to ourselves and our neighbours; they arrived promptly and carried out the work speedily and skilfully leaving the tree looking safer and much more attractive;   they scrupulously cleared and tidied all debris from our own and our neighbours’ gardens;  they also inspected the remaining trunk and assured us it was disease-free and secure. They were very responsive to phone calls, came to visit very quickly, and also came back with quotes quickly. They did a fantastic job completely removing a dying birch (cutting down, digging out and taking away remnants) and replacing with a new tree. They gave us great advice for a suitable replacement given the location (eg, potential width and height when mature, depth of roots etc). They supplied the new tree themselves, picking the best one after visiting 4 different suppliers! All work was itemised and we were given various options (eg, do part of the job ourselves, or not at all). Very competitive prices compared to the competition. They worked around our schedule and I must say they worked really hard. They even mended a broken drain downpipe which had come loose from the gutter, which was a job that I have been trying to find someone to do for a while! will definitely be contacting Paradise next time we need tree work. All extremely friendly and professional. Highly recommended - these are the tree surgeons you're looking for :-)

Site access is difficult - we are mid-terrace, access only through the house - and the tree itself was in an awkward spot, between a shee and a fence; but they got the whole job done including complete removal of all the wood in a single afternoon.
