Charlton is home to many Blackheath Tree Surgeons at Paradise Tree Care. Growing up and living in there, knowing the area and seeing the trees in and around Charlton makes for a great Charlton tree surgeon, gardener, landscaper, fencer, and hedge trimmer. There is so much to see and do in Charlton and areas around London. There are many beautiful and well-known parks that our Blackheath tree surgeons have visited and even had the pleasure of working on a few of them, one being Charlton Park.
Charlton Park is directly opposite to Meridian Sports & Social Club, just across Charlton Park Lane. Meridian Sports and Social Club has been around for years and is home to many happy and sad memories of winning and loosing games. There is plenty of space around the club for football pitches and places to play other social games. Turn left onto Canberra Road and head to The White Swan.
The White Swan is a hearty and rustic pub just outside of the Charlton House Grounds and next to The Bugle Horn and the Old Cottage Coffee Shop Café. Locals have been going to The White Swan for years watching world cups whilst drinking lager. It offers a range of traditional British meals along with live music!
The Royal Oak Pub is home to one of the most well-loved pubs in Charlton. Across from Pound Park Road sits Gilbert’s Pit, a national forest located right in the very heart of London! Laying at the centre of Gilbert’s pit is the lovely Maryon Park, loved by the locals and perfect for families and dog owners to go on walks and bike rides. The Reach Climbing Wall.
